Hanging with Maya is the coolest! I am actually spending the day at home with her and am happy to have a little down with my little lady. We've been pretty busy and every day we're learning, growing and getting the swing of things. She is continuing to give us smiles & is finding her voice with cooing. we're having fun

Maya is just turning 6 weeks (tomorrow) and we're havin a good time. Highlights of this past week include: Josh & I got to go on a little mini date and Maya is starting to coo and smile! We also had some new Mom pals over this week and Maya & cousin Romi got to play together, too. I can hardly believe its been 6 weeks! This week, Oma and Gramps (my Mom & Pops) are coming back up for a visit. We are looking forward to it!

shout out to the ladies

Sarah was here this weekend and it was amazing to see her. All the ladies (the ol college crew) came together at our house on Friday night for some hang, help-liz and food time. It was nice to have us all together & I really appreciated all the help. Sarah and Jess, the master organizers, whipped our house into shape on Sat and did everything from laundry, cooking, organizing and even watched little Maya while I had some pampering done at the nail shop! Shout out to the ladies and esp. Sarah for making the trip down here to meet Maya Rose. Girl Friends rule!

Maya is doing well. She is now turning the corner on 5 weeks and is still eating, pooping and sleeping. We are making it out to do some errands and to a Mom's group and we are still lucky to have lots of visitors. Josh & I are so in love with her & working out all the details of being new parents day by day.
