busy bees.....

Well, it's been a while since I feel like I've had the time to post anything. Between Maya getting sick (a couple weeks ago-poor thing had a super bad cold that they, at first, told us was whooping cough!), all the visitors and our first trip up to Seattle, we've been busy bees!
TlovesT came up again for a great visit during Passover, we also got to see our friends Eileen & Henry Cohen, and then Dave & Maya (from Israel) for a day....and then Maya became the champion traveler this last week on a girls weekend.
My friend Jessica and I always make an annual trip to Seattle to spend time with our pal Sarah. This time, though, the girls weekend included two babies; Parker 8 months and Maya 3! Jess was a real trooper (and a serious help on our flight!) with all the napping and feeding schedules and we managed to make good food, eat out, hit a walk around the lake, do some shopping and veg to Oprah...good stuff!
Maya is doing well! She is still chatting up a storm (see video), likes to suck on her hands and fingers, is starting to put everything in her mouth, is rolling over to her side and is sleeping...eh OK.

a couple more 12 week pics of our peanut!

just about 3 months!

We've been very busy with lots of visitors! Amy, a friend of mine who lives in NY was in town last weekend and then the Gaon crew came to visit as well. Great Aunt Derril also made the trip. It was great to have everyone here and to introduce Maya to more friends and family. Also, Shara is in town from NY this weekend and was able to come by for a visit today. Its so nice to see everyone and more visitors are on their way this month!

Maya was cruising on sleeping at night ( she was beginning to sleep longer stretches ) but then she got her 1st cold last weekend and then got a bit more sick this week. The little lady is under the weather and its just heart breaking to see her be a bit miserable. She's only sleeping a couple/few hours at a time again which means I am extra tired for sure. She seems to be getting better each day and we hope she feels so much better soon. This next week, TlovesT are up for another visit and we will be with lots of friends and family for Passover. We can hardly believe she is turning the corner on 3 months!
