words/16 months!

I am fascinated by language development and think it is just the coolest thing to hear Maya say new words. "Bapple," and "Cacker" are two of my favorites and I secretly hope that she mispronounces them forever. She is still adding new signs as well ("octopus" and "shark" are just too cute) and shes combining signing and talking, too. Yesterday, she took her bear's arm and was lifting it up and saying "booooo" and then giving me the sign for "help." I realized that what she wanted was for me to do peek-a-boo with the bear. So fun!
